I am going to the A ores june18. Would like to find out information on great grand father Joaquin Bulcao born around 1843. Geneologist said his birth certificate was distroyed in flood. Hi everyone...Currently researching my Great Great Grandfather, Manuel Joseph Bernard.Manuel was born 19 March 1841, Ponta Delgada, Flores. (Please note birth certificate attached).He joined a whaling ship at a young age (i think 14!) and eventually ended up on the other side of the world - in New Zealand!
