Every time I was on the site it seemed active, always appeared to have several hundred visitors. I recently added 75 friends on MPS (MyPortugueseSpace.com). I was shocked by the news I received from Eddy Costa that the time had just come. He has no regrets over the decision. It is an honor to see that AzoresNation.com is one of the 'other kool sites' that are on the notice page.

If any of you ever come to Eastern Massachusetts and want to do a little of research on their family that came from the Azores as long as you are in the late 1879-1883.
At the North Dartmouth Family History Center we have Records for all 9 islands in the Azores.
Some from the early 1545 to 1883, a little on civil records they go up to to 1905 just for a few Places.
I do have some Madeira Records but not all just a few.

UPDATE: Ok so I did some searching and found that my Grandfather's(John Caton) parents were Manuel Caetano and Maria (Soares) Caetano. I believe all family member listed below are all buried in St John's Cemetary in New Bedford, MA. Anyone with information or that can help me trace any information would be greatly appreciated.
